Due to the large talent gap between the top 6 picks and the rest of the first round in the NBA and NFL prospect drafts, I propose that the contract structure be slightly altered to accommodate that talent gap. Here is the proposed contract structure:
NBA picks 7-12
Year 1 = $8
Year 2 = $16
Year 3 = $24
Year 4 = $30
Year 5 = $34
NFL picks 7-12
Year 1 = $7
Year 2 = $14
Year 3 = $21
Year 4 = $28
All changes would take effect immediately. This requires 7 votes to pass.
