Hey all, just wanted to give you a heads up that Nathan is going to be stepping down from ownership of the St. Louis Stars franchise due to real life commitments that have not allowed him to devote the time he wants to this league. Damn reality always gets in the way of a good time.
It hasn’t been 100% confirmed yet, but the expectation is that one of our original league members, Chris, will be stepping into the ownership team role. Chris led the Norwich Nemesis to a ton of success in the early years of the league before having to step back himself, again for real life reasons. He reached out to me a few months ago to let me know that he was ready and willing to jump back in whenever a team became available.
With Chris’ previous experience in the league he likely won’t need much, if any, ramp up time and will be able to jump right in. It’s a bummer to lose Nathan, but I know the franchise will be in good hands
