LAS VEGAS, NV - After a lengthy meeting, the Las Vegas Strips management has determined that they will not be able to make the playoffs this year. While many probably thought from the start, GM Rosen saw a young team with several potential stars developing. "While we believe we may have finally turned a corner and have been much more competitive this year than in years past, it appears the likelihood of making the playoffs is diminishing." The Strips face a daunting schedule the next 4 weeks, facing 4 of the top 5 teams in the league to this point.
GM Rosen has let it be known that they are willing to discuss a trade involving players on their active roster, including:
Ryan Johnson Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Ryan O'Reilly Nick Ritchie Reilly Smith Tomas Tatar Adam Larsson Jamie Oleksiak Travis Sanheim Nino Niederreiter Frank Vatrano Casey DeSmith Tyler Myers
All others are also open for discussion, but the team would prefer to hang onto them for beyond this season. The Las Vegas Strips assure their fans they are working hard to make their hockey team more competitive and hope they are encouraged by some of the extremely talented youth the team has on the roster, as well as in our Juniors system.
